Bukayo Saka: I’m proud of my Nigerian heritage

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has admitted that picking between Nigeria and England will be a tough choice.

The Arsenal starlet, deemed as one of the more interesting lads in world football has said he was undecided over his international future.

The Arsenal player has represented England up to U 19 level; however, he has the option to switch his international allegiance to the Super Eagles at the senior level.

With both the Three Lions and Super Eagles mulling the option of international call-up for Saka, the 18-year-old maintained that his focus for now was to remain humble.

Bukayo Saka told Skysports, “I’m happy to have represented England at youth level but I’m also proud of my Nigerian heritage from my parents.”

“We haven’t been picked by any team so it’s about staying humble and when the time comes we’ll make the decision.”

Since Saka has made his senior club debut at Arsenal in the 2018-19 season, he has racked up 45 more appearances.

42 of those appearances came from this season and has found the back of the net five times this campaign.
