Vincent Enyeama hails the 24-man squad released by Rohr for Sierra Leone clash
Enyeama has tipped the current crop of players in the Nigerian team to conquer the world.
Gernot Rohr, yesterday, released a 24-man squad for Nigeria’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier doubleheader clash against the Lone Stars of Sierra Leone.
The squad includes a return for Kelechi Iheanacho and debut call-up for FC Koln of Germany defender Kingsley Ehizibue and Holland-based forward Cyril Dessers.
Leon Balogun also got a recall, while there was a place for Wilfred Ndidi, who has been out for over a month due to injury.
Meanwhile, with the talk a quota system that would have more home-based players in the national team, only Heartland’s Ikechukwu Ezenwa that made the cut for the upcoming matches.

Reacting to the squad release, Enyeama, a former skipper of the team and who also helped Nigeria to win her third AFCON title in 2013 said Rohr assembled a team that could conquer any team in the world.
“This is a very good team.this generation can conquer everyone,” the 101 capped international tweeted.
Nigeria will host the Leone Stars on March 26 before heading to Freetown for the return leg at the Siaka Stevens Stadium four days later.
The three-time African champions currently sit top of Group L on six points, having won all two of their fixtures.
