Paris Saint-German forward Neymar leads the Brazilian contingent for next month’s friendly matches against Senegal and Nigeria.

The Brazil Football Confederation had on Tuesday announced that the Selecao would lock horns with the Teranga Lions and the Super Eagles next month.

In a release from the CBF, Brazil will face Senegal on October 13, and three days later, face Nigeria – both matches billed for the Singapore stadium.

Early on Friday on its website the CBF had stated that the squad for the matches with the African sides at a venue, where the federation would also release the U-17 and Olympics squad.

And the Brazilian national team coach Tite has named a strong squad for the matches, with Neymar, Bayern Munich midfielder Philipe Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus – all making the squad.

Liverpool’s duo of Roberto Firminho and Fabinho also made the list, but injured goalkeeper Allison didn’t make the cut.

Meanwhile, Garba Lawal, a former Super Eagles had described the game against Brazil next as a great one – and according to the ex-international, the South American side are still bitter over their loss to Nigeria at 1996 Olympics.

Lawal told Brila.net“I believe they are angry at the 96′ Olympic defeat, that’s why they came down here to defeat us 3-0 in 2003,”
