Real Madrid’s problem is bigger than the issue with the Brazilian left-back, as half the squad should be overhauled, says former Los Blancos manager John Toshack.
Marcelo, who joined Madrid in 2007 – as since then appeared in nearly 400 games for the Spanish giants – and earmark himself as one of the finest left-backs in the last ten years.
But with drop a drop in form recently that has seen the ability of the 30-year-old being questioned as to whether he could still compete at the highest level and the emergence young left-back Sergio Reguilion at the club, Marcelo has been slammed to the bench by Coach Santiago Solari.

In addition, the Welsh who had two managerial spells at Madrid also call out his country man Gareth Bale, who has been said not to understand the Spanish language to learn the language.
According to 69 years old, learning the language would be a sign of respect for the Los Blancos fans.
“Bale should have learnt Spanish out of respect for the people,” he added.
