It was difficult under Mou, but I enjoy Freedom under Solskjaer, Pogba

The midfielder revealed he was relishing the freedom under his caretaker manager.

Paul Pogba admitted that the system under former boss Jose Mourinho was difficult, and he was an admirer of the new tactics under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer

The France international had a tumultuous relationship under Mourinho that had him left out of the starting eleven towards the end of the Portuguese’ reigns at Old Trafford.

But since Solksjaer had took over, Pogba had returned a total of four goals and another four assists in six games.

Speaking after the 1-0 away win to Tottenham, Pogba told Sysports, “I’m enjoying playing football.

“It was difficult in the system {under Mourinho}, the tactics we used to play. I like to be more attacking, pressing, play high.

“Sometimes I could go but defending is not my best attribute.

“Where I play [at the moment] we understand each other and I’m where I feel most comfortable.

“That helps me [having Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera behind]. I know Matic will be there and we can press high and I can shoot, pass… that’s what I’ve been doing since the manager came.

“I know I have security behind me and I have the freedom.”

The sixth consecutive win under Solkjaer has put United level on points with Arsenal in fifth position – and six points adrift Champions League spot.
