The Arsenal manager has waged his thought on move linking the Argentine with the vacant managerial position at Old Trafford, and he said the 46-year-old already had a big club in Tottenham
Unai Emery, ahead of the Carabao Cup quarter-final meeting with North London rival Spurs has said Mauricio had no reason dumping Tottenham for United, who sacked their manager in the early hours of Tuesday.
Pochettino, who took over at Spurs in 2014, has been mooted as one of the favourites for the United job in the summer, but Emery posited that the Argentine was coaching a bigger side.
The former PSG manager told Skysports: “I think he’s coaching a very big team with a very big player and now they are in the Champions League they are also in a better position in the Premier League than Manchester United.
“I think his performance at Tottenham is very big.
“I don’t know if he’s thinking to change for another club, but I am looking at him with a very big commitment to Tottenham and he’s creating a good performance a good idea at Tottenham.
The former Chelsea manager sacking comes after rumours that he has fell-out with his players – star man Paul Pogba the most notable.
Pochettino has drawn praises from many for his works at Spurs and has been backed by several people, which include Man U great Gary Neville to take over from Jose Mourinho.
